Amy is driven by a passion for problem-solving, a keen interest in enhancing employee-employer engagement and being an intuitive empath. She has honed her expertise in Human Resources over the last twelve years, collaborating closely with senior management to cultivate thriving teams, foster innovation, and establish robust HR frameworks.

 

Before launching her consulting venture, Amy accumulated more than seventeen years of diverse experience across different nonprofit sectors, including higher education, healthcare, and environmental conservation. Throughout her most recent tenure, she was an HR Department of One, focused on functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, professional development, compliance, and policy establishment. Additionally, Amy provided invaluable support to a Board of Directors, aiding in governance responsibilities like recruitment, onboarding, bylaw updates, adherence to best practices, and policy implementation.

As a consultant, Amy's specialization lies in assisting small businesses and nonprofits in enhancing their HR practices, fostering strong team dynamics, and nurturing employee-centric cultures. Amy is known for her supportive, empowering approach and her steadfast belief in the invaluable potential of human talent as an organization's most distinctive asset, continuously seeking opportunities to facilitate their growth and success.

Amy is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). She is also a board member of the Northern Nevada Human Resources Association and SHRM's Nevada State Council.
